Cost Laser Hair Removal Legs
What is laser hair removal? Is having it done on your legs worth it?
I don't know much about laser hair removal, but I think the main reason why people don't do it is because it's expensive.
But I have to tell you, for me, shaving is extremely expensive-not as much as the laser hair removal- but still very expensive. Because, in order to get my legs *halfway* smooth, I buy the very best moisterizers, lotions, razors, shaving creams, waxes, etc. and it can get VERY expensive.
My leg hair grows extremely fast (it takes only a couple hrs. within shaving with the best razor/creams for it to be prickly again) and is VERY dark and thick.
Should I consider laser hair removal? What is it really? How much of the hair does it get rid of eventually, all of it or only some/most? How many times do you have to go for all the hair to be gone? How much does it cost every time? And does going once help? Is it very painful?
thanks
Laser hair removal will remove most of your hair, but probably not all. The way that it works is that the laser light is made to zap darker colors. So, it works best if you have darkish hair and lightish skin. If you have blond hair like your avatar, it might not work so well for you.
The laser light hits the follicle of the hair and turns to heat, buring the hair follicle and damaging it. If this happens at the right moment of the hiar cycles growth, the hair will die and will not regrow. So you need repleated treatments, but eventually most of the hairs willl not regrow.
Everyone is different, so there is no rule about how many times you have to be treated. Also, every clinic is different so costs are difficult to estimate. It depends on the area of your body, but treatement will be in the thousands of dollars.
You can also buy a home laser system and do it at home. Much less expensive and you do not have to have repeated appointments and sessions.
