advice for laser hair removal,for anyone who already did it?

im 16 and my dermatologist and i have agreed to continue with a laser hair removal procedure [for the face]...i want to know how it is and if its worth it..i know u have to go like twice a yr or more to get it done, but does it make facial hair less visible or rlly dissapear? and is it true your skin becomes red? im actually looking forward for this treatment because i finally have an alternative to facial hair, but is it worth it generall?

I've had it done and I do it. Personally, I've had a lot of success. To start with you'll go 6 times with about a month in between treatments. After that you'll assess it and either continue, or just do maintenance. The really dark hairs will probably disappear, the finer dark hairs will be gone after a while. Your skin is red immediately after the treatments, but the redness is gone within and hour or two.
