Bladder cancer is a disease that occurs due to malignant growth inside the urinary bladder. Different types of malignant growths may lead to cancer inside one’s urinary bladder. The level of treatment of bladder cancer depends on the level of invasion of the tumor into the inner wall of the bladder. Superficial tumors that do not enter the muscle layer can be easily removed by using an electro cautery device. Besides, immunotherapy is often applied to treat and diminish the chance of recurrence of such tumors. Immunotherapy can be effective up to second and third stage of the disease. Beyond that instillation of chemotherapy is the only option for treatment of urinary bladder cancer.
