Hair removal cream in my eye

Yes I'm a grade A tit! I got Hair removal cream in my eye not alot but by god it burns!! the nipping has stopped but my eye is swollen and red (OBV!) I was soo sure that I had rinsed my hands properly, but evidently not!
Has anyone else done this? What can I do to ease the swelling?
I don't have an eye bath, so I just kinda stood under the shower holding my eye open under the warm water, which has helped alot!
Yes I do still have my eye lashes haha! cheeky! Glad it's made someone laugh, I'm sure I will laugh about it too, just not when it feels like my eye ball is on fire!
And can I jsut add in my defence, I'm not usually this stupid!! honest O.O
continue to flush your eye out with water.... try cupping your hands under the running tap and blinking your eye in the water for about 10 mins. if it's no better this afternoon go to the doctor.
