I put hair removal creme on my face and..?

I put it on my upper lip to remove the hair, then suddently 5 min later my face starts BURNING up, so I remove the creme as fast as I could, now its red and it burns whenever I touch it. I didn't read the warning label on the back so I'm aware it's my fault but are there any home remedy treatments I could use to calm the burning..?

That happened to the side of my face. Everywhere else on my face was fine but when I put it on my upper side of my cheek, it turned red and was sensitive. I guess it's because it's thinner there?! Anyhow.. try a soothing oil. Do you have any? I'd avoid a facial lotion. That'd only sting it more. Just put a warm or cool towel on it (your choice) and if you don't have a soothing oil, make it a priority to get it as soon as you can. Also... it should go away within a couple of days. Just dont touch it
