Does hair electrolysis actually work?

I've looked up on the internet about various electrolysis machines you can use for hair removal at home. Would this be effective or do you think it would be safer/ work better if i had it done professionally? Both are quite pricy and I only need a small area of my bikini line doing. Please help

It is verrry pricey... I have it done professionally and after experiencing what it is like, I would not ever do such a thing at home. Please be careful with those products... the use can burn your skin and there are many precautions you have to take when using this option. But if you're interested, find a few locations in your area. I go to American Laser Centers, and they're nationwide.
