Laser Hair Removal Face Burns
I have PCOS and when I shave my face the area under my chin is consderably darker. How can I alter/avoid this?
Like I mentioned, I have had PCOS for almost 15 years and, for the most part, it is managed. I've done waxing, electrolysis and even laser removal for facial hair, but the last gave me a nasty 3rd degree burn so I don't use depilatory creams on my face (I don't know how it will react with the scar). So, I shave, which I don't mind, but the area I shave, particularly under my chin and jaw is always a much darker color than the rest of my face. Why? And can anything be done to stop it, lighten it or prevent it? Also, I am black, if that matters.

I have PCOS aswell, and you obviously know how awful this can be to deal with.
Firstly, the area you are shaving is darker because each time you shave, it grows in darker and coarser. You realy should speak to a doctor about it. Didnt he recomend anything?
