Laser Hair Removal Face Massachusetts
Laser hair removal for the face?
Hi, I have PCOS which causes hirsutism and Ive been thinking about looking into getting it removed. It IS realy bad on my face, I have dark coarse hair, on the sides of my face and under my chin. To go out I actually have to shave it, because wax doesnt work to well for me. I am white, but my skin is a bit darker, I have some native american and french in me, so my skin isnt pale pale white... not sure if any of this makes a difference.
Has anyone had this done under the same circumstances? (dark coarse hair, a little darker skin) How were the results?
How many times does it need to be done, typically?
A rough idea on cost would be good.
And if anyone knows anyone in Massachusetts that I could go to, that would be a huge help. As this is highly embaressing and Ive had enough.
I am also french and native american with medium skin and I had my upper lip and chin done about 6 years ago. It honestly was the best decision i ever made. No more waxing and ingrown hair etc etc. The process took about 6 treatments for me over the course of a year or so (varies by person and how your hair grows). I get a touch up about once every 2 years. The procedure was a little painful but def not unbearable or anything. There will most likely always be a few hairs that regrow over the course of time but it is NOTHING compared to what i had before. It was a bit expensive but the cost decreased with eat successive treatment. You can go for a consultation and the specialist will be able to tell you about how many treatments you would need and how much reduction in hair you will be able to achieve. I think it was around $800 total after all treatments and touch ups. Good luck
