I 100% agree with the poster above, do not go to a Medspa, or anyplace like Ideal Image - where "nurses" perform the service.

Get it done at a dematologist (skin doctor) office. Make sure a DOCTOR is performing the service.

Don't let them fast-talk you into buying an expensive packaged deal, you have the right to ask about potential side effects and see REAL before and after shots. Ask for a reference of a LOCAL client, that you can talk to. If you're under 18, have a parent look over the contract.

If it says anything in there about services being NON-Refundable, walk away. This means they can do whatever they want, and you still have to pay them, and if they mess up, you cant ask for your money back.

I wish I knew this kind of stuff before I went, and im in my 20's. As far as I know, you can have it done pretty much anywhere on your body, but it will hurt. You can purchase numbing cream also, but it is usually expensive.

There is always a risk of scarring, which they probably won't tell you. I wish I had saved my money. I wish someone had told me this stuff before I tried laser hair removal.
