Is Laser Hair removal available on the NHS?

I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS. The excess facial hair is really getting me down, and after finally plucking up the courage to go to the doctor about it, I've been told by my endocrinologist that Laser treatment isnt available on the NHS. Theres no way I can afford it, so it seems like theres nothing I can do. However I have read in other peoples answers that it is available in some parts of the country. I live in the teesside area... is it available in other places?
