No, I don't think its a phase. I felt like that at 17, and now I still do in my 20s. I ended up going to get like a years worth of electrolosis in my 20s. This helped, but I still feel like I want it better. But electrolosis is not supposed to work as well as laser. It absolutely killed too. So now i'm looking at laser myself. My bother went in for skin resurfacing on his face (also a laser treatment) and he had like a red patch for seriously like 2 years, so that is what worries me about it too, the discoloration. But it eventually went away. Hope this helps!
