Did laser hair removal affect your tattoo?

I would like to hear what has happened to other people when they go under the hair removal laser when they have a tattoo. I've heard that so many things can happen and I just need to know what is most common because I am thinking about trying it in a couple weeks

i actually have a tattoo and i have been getting laser hair removal on my arms, and the first 2 sessions they avoided my tattoo, they just told me that they cant do it for me over a tattoo, and she told me that all these guys come in with tattoos all over their backs who want hair removal on their backs and she turns them away.
A couple days ago it was my third session and i think she was distracted or something because she went over my tattoo, but just the edge of it, the part she went over is like a curved black line. And it didnt really feel any different that the regular pain from the laser, but afterwards i noticed the part of my skin with the tattoo she went over was kind of raised up, and the skin on the tattoo was kind of peeling. Today, it basically looks like there are tiny blisters along the tattoo, only where there is ink. You can't really notice it unless u look closely.
I think it will probably be different though if they laser over a big part of a tattoo.
