I would definitely go with laser hair removal over electrolysis. They both don't really have side effects, but electrolysis is a real tedious process, it can take 2-3 hours for one treatment. Laser hair removal usually takes less than an hour. If you have darker skin, you might want to go with electrolysis though because lasers have trouble with darker skin tones.

For blemishes I might try a IPL Treatment or Blue Light Therapy, it should help with the scarring, too.
