Does this actually work? I read some comments, and apparently heating to 250 is too hot, and will actually harden it. If anyone has tried this, any suggestions? What is it supposed to look like when you put it on your legs anyways?
No, I don't want to get wax, or get a wax by a professional, I want to try this if it's safe. Thanks.
I've never made my own sugar wax, but I have bought some home-made stuff from a flea market. It was easily the best hair removal product I've ever tried. It didn't hurt as much as traditional waxing, it smelled good and worked a treat. However, it is very messy. Also, it's easy to burn yourself with since sugar heats up so rapidly.
I had to throw my jar out because I forgot to close the lid properly and ants got to it. I've never managed to find another jar of it. Thanks for the link. I might have to try this out for myself.
Edit: I should mention that when I used this stuff, eventually a few patches of hair on my legs stopped growing back. This was over ten years ago, and they still haven't grown back.
