Veet Hair Removal Irritation
What's pro's and con's of using hair removal cream/mousse?
My girlfriend wants to remove her hair down there, but she don know which is the best way. Shaving will cause irritation, waxing is painful, and there's some hair removal product such as Veet where u can remove hair by just applying cream on the area and leave it for a few mins and just rinse it and the hair is gone. I just want to know:
1. How long it lasts until the hair grows back? Can she uses it again to remove the hair once it's just growing out from the skin?
2. Is there any side effects if she uses it on her genitals?
She shouldn't use it to go completely hairless in that area. Her bikini line would be fine but I wouldn't recommend taking it much further. It's a chemical that more or less burns the hair away, it could irritate her skin quite badly in that sensitve part of her body.
It smells kinda bad is one con of the product.
As far as how long it lasts, it depends, usually a couple of days longer than shaving. BUT she'd need to let it grow out a bit before using it again. If there's just a very slight amount of hair coming through the skin she should wait a couple more days.
They have kits specifically for the bikini area that won't irritate her skin as much. Make sure she follows the directions. Especially the one about doing a test spot on herself to make sure her skin doesn't react badly.
